  • The TMA05 manifold is a GGG40 cast manifold, with a T3 turbocharger Flange; manifold accepts 2-bolt 38mm wastegates.
  • 8 spacer washers are included for easier assembly of the top nuts.
  • The application is VW / Audi 1.8 20V transverse engines. (Golf, A3)
  • Will not fit AWD applications.

Designed for extreme pressure applications, it’s perfect for camshafts break in procedures, as it withstands pressure values of 40,000 to 50,000 psi, thus avoiding scoring on the high pressure cams - followers interface.

VW 1.8L 20v 0.098" 2.50mm decompression MLS head gasket

  • NEW Compression reduction VW 1.8L 20v.
  • Special cylinder head gasket for turbo conversion on the 1.8L 20V.
  • With this special Turbo multilayer metal cylinder head gasket.
  • The compression reduction is already integrated in the seal.
  • (Ground and coated).
  • Will accept pistons up to 82.50mm overbored sized, can be used with smaller bores with no problem too.
  • Total thickness: 2.50mm (0.098")
  • The new compression ratio: (depending on the engine variant, see the overview below).
  • Attention only for 1,8T with performance increase or planned cylinder head to the compensation!
  • This overview shows how the engine changes the compression ratios.You save yourself the purchase of 2 cylinder head gaskets and an intermediate plate!
